Chaffinch Document expands into London

Chaffinch Document has announced its expansion into London, cementing its position as one of the fastest-growing records management businesses in the UK.

The paper and cloud document management specialist – which offers scanning, off-site document storage, shredding and cloud document management software – has opened its new, modern office at 20 Old Bailey near St Paul’s in central London.

Chaffinch Document has continued to go from strength-to-strength in recent years, highlighting a need to expand its footprint to the capital. The new office will make the data management company more accessible to customers in the south and will help to spread awareness of its services throughout businesses in the UK.

Managing Director, Alastair Machin said: “Creating a presence in the city will enable us to meet the growing needs of our customers across the UK more effectively, whilst continuing to provide the highest levels of service.”

Chaffinch Document already operates in a variety of Midlands-based locations from its home county Staffordshire and in nearby Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire.

The London office will further complement the business’ goal to deliver digital-first record management solutions to organisations looking to manage their data more efficiently. It also gives Chaffinch Document and its current or prospective customers a central location to meet face-to-face, strengthening customer relations.

This milestone comes only two years after Chaffinch Document acquired Quantor Scanning. This allowed the business to enhance its comprehensive suite of document management and digital transformation solutions.

The acquisition accelerated the company’s growth and helped position Chaffinch Document as a dynamic, customer-centric business. Not only did it allow Chaffinch Document the opportunity to grow its digital storage solutions, it also enabled the business to offer a genuine alternative to incumbent records management businesses, through its digital-first approach.

Alastair added: “This expansion wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our existing customers and partners, and we hope this move will help even more businesses to effectively manage their business-critical data, no matter where they are in the UK.

“The old boxes on shelves model is broken for many businesses, and we feel that our approach, which focusses on digital transformation and return on investment offers a compelling alternative to businesses in London and beyond.”

The new office is just a five-minute walk from St. Paul’s Cathedral and is situated close to Thameslink rail and the Underground.
